Vancouver Half-Ironman Competition
THANKS TO ALL OF DARCY'S FANS AND SUPPORTERS -- SHE BEAT HER PERSONAL GOAL AND RAISED $1,570 !!! WAY TO GO, DARCY!
This summer, in memory of my grandmother, who passed away from Parkinson's disease in 2006, I will complete a half-ironman competition. My goal is to raise $1,000 to help fund programs and services for people with Parkinson's disease and/or research into the cause and cure. It is my third year competing in multi-sport races, and this will be my longest triathlon to date. I hope you will support me in this 1.9 km ocean swim from Locarno Beach, followed by an 84 km bike and 21 km run along Spanish Banks.
Many thanks to all who supported the Just Giver team -- $63,000 was raised and donated to Parkinson Society British Columbia and the Davis Phinney Foundation!

For the 3rd year, the Just Giver duo, Kelly Jablonski and Branko Radmilovic, introduce a new spin to this annual fundraising ride. This year, the Just Giver Crew are challenging cyclists to participate in the 100km (Century Loop) 1-day SuperCycle ride, and have the exciting opportunity to ride with two great cyclist legends, Alex Stieda and Axel Merckx.
For the 3rd year, the Just Giver duo, Kelly Jablonski and Branko Radmilovic, introduce a new spin to this annual fundraising ride. Alex is the first North American to ever have worn the famed Yellow Jersey during the 1986 Tour de France. He and his family will join the Just Giver crew to help generate awareness and raise funds for Parkinson's disease.
Axel won a bronze medal in the Athens Olympics and competed in 8 Tour de France competitions, with a best finish of 10th.
After the 1-day SuperCycle ride, Kelly and Branko will continue their 7-day journey to Cranbrook, where they will celebrate their successes! This year they will be accompanied by four additional elite riders - Mike Ryan, David Kosub, Rob Macdonald and Adam Peron.
