Programs & Services / Self-help Support Groups / New Diagnosis Support Group Meetings

Are you looking for a support group to help you cope with your diagnosis of Parkinson's disease?

Or, as someone supporting a person who is newly diagnosed, are you interested in speaking to others who face similar challenges?

PSBC facilitates a New Diagnosis support group. The group is for people who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's in the past two years.

The benefits of joining a group are many. Newly diagnosed individuals often mention feeling isolated, and as a newly diagnosed person or family member, you may wish to talk with others who are also facing this challenge. The purpose of our self-help support groups is to provide an atmosphere of mutual trust and support and for sharing strategies for living a full life with Parkinson's.

If would would be interested in attending a New Diagnosis group meeting, please contact Robbin Jeffereys at 604 662 3240 or by email at any time.
