Caregiving is potentially a very difficult job. It is full of unknowns and unwanted changes in the life of the caregiver. Some of these changes can feel (and may be!) completely out of the control of either the caregiver or the person receiving care. Exhaustion sets in, pressure can mount, and tempers can flare. Sadly, it is not uncommon for either the caregiver or the person being cared for to be the victim of abuse of various kinds. Both people can become vulnerable to the stress of the situation and you must seek help.
