Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC) is calling for nominations to honor individuals within the Parkinson's community who actively engage in volunteer opportunities with the organization. These dedicated individuals lead, facilitate, or support various PSBC initiatives such as education events, support groups, exercise classes, fundraising efforts, and the Parkinson SuperWalk. They exemplify the spirit of going above and beyond, demonstrating a commitment to celebrating each day with joy, compassion, and understanding.

Their efforts serve as inspiring examples of how individuals affected by Parkinson’s can lead fulfilling lives, forging new opportunities, and nurturing relationships beyond expectations following a diagnosis.

PSBC is inviting nominations for these outstanding individuals to be recognized at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (date TBD). Through this process, PSBC aims to spotlight their remarkable contributions and share their inspiring stories with the wider community.

We encourage community members to nominate someone whose involvement in volunteering with Parkinson Society BC embodies the "Above and Beyond" philosophy in their daily life.
