Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC) is seeking submissions for an art exhibit through August 2018 at “the Moat” gallery space at the Vancouver Public Library Central Branch to showcase original work by local artists living with Parkinson’s disease, their families and carepartners. The display will be open for public viewing August 1st through 31st from 6:00am – 10:00pm Monday through Saturday and from 8:00am – 7:00pm on Sundays. The gallery space is located on the lower level of Library Square at 350 West Georgia Street.

PSBC will be inviting submissions until 4:00pm on June 1st, 2018 via email or regular post.

Please note that:

  • Art must be original work by BC based artists (that is, no copies of work by other visual artists).
  • Art work will not be returned to the artist. For this reason, PSBC recommends providing the Society with high quality reproductions or prints.
  • Due to space constraints, the gallery may only display two-dimensional, framed, visual art (examples: photographs, paintings, drawings, sketches).

Artwork may be submitted to Jovana Vranic, Marketing & Communications Coordinator along with a signed submission form:

• Parkinson's Art Exhibition - Submission Form (printable pdf file)
• Parkinson's Art Exhibition - Submission Form (fillable pdf file)

To submit via email, please send digital files (high quality scanned images will be accepted) to jvranic@parkinson.bc.ca. To submit prints via regular post, please address it to:
