Investigators at the University of British Columbia have designed a study to test visual abilities and eye movements in individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD). They are currently recruiting both people with PD and those without the condition - the latter population will serve as a control group. The aim of the study is to better understand sensory, perceptual and cognitive impairments in PD, and to potentially help in the diagnosis and prognosis of symptom progression in this disease. Participants must:

• be between 60 and 85 years of age
• have normal or corrected-to-normal visual acuity
• have no history of neurological, psychiatric or eye disease

Participants will be asked to participate in an in-person testing session of approximately 2 hour long. During the session, individuals will complete a number of short assessments to test vision and cognitive abilities. They will then view visual stimuli on a computer monitor while their eye movements are being recorded using a video-based eye-tracker.
