Parkinson Society British Columbia is seeking a skilled marketing and communications professional to support and expand our educational resources, publications, and marketing efforts.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Resource Development & Communications, and working closely with the Manager, Programs & Services, this position will assist in the maintenance, development, and research related to the development of educational materials for the Society. The successful candidate will also be responsible for sourcing, writing, and compiling compelling articles/stories for our various publications.
It is expected that the individual in this role take strong ownership of tasks while maintaining immaculate attention to detail. The ability to independently exercise sound judgement, while protecting the Society’s brand standards and interests is essential.
This is a part-time, three (3) day per week (21 hours), 10-month contract position with the possibility of growth. Preferred days of work are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. The successful candidate will adhere to a set schedule.
