To maximize the benefit of the ATTP for British Columbia's community, Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC) is offering a limited number of scholarships for medical and allied health professionals wishing to attend the course.
Scholarships will be awarded with great discretion. Recipients must provide a completion certificate and all receipts must be submitted no later than May 30, 2018 to receive reimbursement.
The scholarship program is open to healthcare professionals who reside in British Columbia that are currently working with People with Parkinson's (PwP) or have demonstrated interest in working with PwP. Those who are not currently serving the Parkinson's community must have a plan in place for working with PwP and their families after training.
All scholarships will cover the registration fee. At PSBC's discretion, up to three (3) days of housing and travel costs may be applied for when recipients live more than 60 kilometers from the course venue in Richmond, BC.
