Falls Prevention in Parkinson’s Disease | Dr. Naaz Parmar, Geriatrician
Older adults and people with Parkinson’s have a higher risk of falling. It is common to experience recurrent episodes of falling, and sometimes injury. Geriatrician, Dr. Naaz Parmar, joins us to discusses fall risk factors linked to Parkinson's, as well as strategies and interventions to prevent and reduce falls. Health concerns and consequences of falling, as well as home accessibility improvement options will also be discussed.
