Please note: In response to the global outbreak of COVID-19, Parkinson Society BC has been taking proactive measures to manage the potential for transmission. As such, our support groups have suspended in-person meetings until further notice.

For the most up-to-date information on changes to our programs and support services, please visit this PSBC webpage.

Many of our groups are hosting meetings virtually via Zoom. For more information, or to get in touch with any of our local group facilitators, please email us at info@parkinson.bc.ca or call 1-800-668-3330.
The benefits of belonging to a Support Group include:
  • Providing people with Parkinson's, their caregivers and families an opportunity to meet in a friendly, supportive setting.
  • Offering a place to share with others who are experiencing similar difficulties. There is comfort in knowing you are not alone in your struggle.
  • Access to a variety of local professionals with knowledge of Parkinson's and related healthcare concerns who may periodically come to meetings.
  • Exercise sessions (in certain groups only).
