On September 30, the staff at Parkinson Society BC (PSBC) will be joining Canadians to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day dedicated to honoring the painful history and survivors of residential schools, along with their families and communities.

Orange Shirt Day, an Indigenous-led movement, also takes place on September 30, and Canadians are encouraged to wear orange to promote "Every Child Matters" as well as raise awareness on the generational impacts of residential schools.

The PSBC office will be closed on Friday, September 30, and will reopen on Monday, October 3 at 8:30am. Please note that PSBC's regular office hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with the exception of statutory holidays.
