This month, the World Parkinson Coalition announced the World Parkinson Congress (WPC) 2019 ambassadors. Ambassadors are all living with Parkinson's disease (PD), have attended at least one past WPC and wish to help others experience this event. They will work as part of the World Parkinson Coalition's outreach team. Parkinson Society British Columbia welcomes the WPC 2019 Ambassadors, and would like to extend special congratulations to Jillian Carson, who is based in Victoria, BC.

The World Parkinson Congress (WPC) is an international forum for the global Parkinson's community to learn about the latest scientific discoveries, medical practices and care initiatives that improve the lives of people living with PD. The next WPC will be taking place in Kyoto, Japan from June 4-7, 2019.
