This September, thousands of participants across the country will gather together for Parkinson SuperWalk. This event is meant to empower the Parkinson's community and celebrate its resilience. No matter what the challenges, together we can make a difference.
Your participation is critical. If you've never joined us for SuperWalk, we encourage you to do so this year. Funds raised through this event help support Parkinson Society BC's programs, services, advocacy efforts, and research contributions. Here are just a few examples of your dollars at work:
- Providing free counselling services for people affected by Parkinson's
- Offering workshops, including for communication & swallowing issues
- Facilitating peer-to-peer connections for support through PDLink
- Publishing informational resources such as GroupLink and Viewpoints
- Advocating for improved care and fair access to treatment
Raise $250 online before July 12, 2019 and you'll be eligible to win a two night stay at the Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Vancouver. Located close to Granville Island and Downtown Vancouver, you are never far from fun at Park Inn. Subject to availability and blackout periods.
