  • Prince George

Weekly commitment: 5-10 hours (varies based on community and committee size)

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting committee members and delegating duties
  • Sharing information from PSBC to appropriate committee members
  • Attending monthly meetings and registration training

Parkinson Society BC actively guides walk coordinators through the event planning process. We provide training, resources, and ongoing contact with the coordinator. To expand awareness of the event, and the disease by association, PSBC develops a marketing campaign (press releases, social media, advertising, etc.), produces and distributes promotional materials, and offers fundraising tools.
