Explore mood and motivation in Parkinson's with Dr Fidel Vila-Rodriguez from the University of British Columbia's Department of Psychiatry and the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute. Dr Vila-Rodriguez will delve into the biology of mood, shedding light on the shifts in motivation, the relationship between anxiety and depression, and explain how apathy can notably impact one's sense of motivation.

The webinar will discuss the latest advancements in both pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. This includes an exploration of FDA-approved options, as well as an examination of pivotal studies shaping the landscape of Parkinson's care. Drawing from his ongoing research on depression in Parkinson's, Dr. Fidel Vila-Rodriguez will offer unique insights into the condition and treatment.
